  1. I could imgaine Murton wants to beat Hendry in the kneecaps with a crobar after Hendry praises and vaules him so much and says he could be regular LF on any team then calls up 2nd baseman instead of him..
  2. " Matt Murton would be a solid left fielder on many MLB teams" - Jim Hendry LOL
  3. Wow Patterson? they must really must not care about performance and jsut about having a lefty in there..Typical cubs
  4. The injury didn'y bother me at all for some reason..Probably because he was frustrating the hell out of me and I'm sure most of you..I actually think we will play better without him..Atleast we'll have guys not strikeing out every time up there and will take some pitches and when Fonzie comes back theyll stick him down in the order finally.
  5. If you don't call up Murton..I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.. and this is coming for a Anti-Murton lover
  6. Chone Figgins went 2-for-4 with a walk and his seventh steal Tuesday in the Angels' 7-4 win over the Rangers. There's a case for Figgins as the AL's best player so far. He's hitting .393 and leading the league with a .507 OBP, 13 walks and seven steals. All of the walks are an especially nice surprise. His career high is 65, established when he had 604 at-bats in 2006. He did have a slghtly better rate last year, walking 51 times in 442 at-bats. Him in CF and in the top of the order wouldv'e been real nice....Wasn't Hendry asking the Angels about him?
  7. DLee and A-Ram molested those baseballs..The went like 450 Feet
  8. Harden is the same as Mark Prior..Has the talent but theyre always hurt..Only thing is Harden always comes back and throws 98 MPH...I have Harden on my fantasy team..Hurt again..Damn
  9. We better win today because Lilly will get rocked and Hamels will throw a CGSO tommorrow.
  10. Is this one of those drunk threads?
  11. Im buying one in dedication to Soto http://blog.hemmings.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/12/Bonneville_8211_resized.jpg
  12. Something is obviosuly wrong with him today..
  13. Z going tommorrow... Nice Jason Marquis has been scratched from his scheduled start Friday because of an illness. The original plan was for Marquis to go tonight, but the Cubs had announced earlier that Rich Hill would start. Now they'll also go to Carlos Zambrano and Ted Lilly on regular rest Friday and Saturday. Marquis could pitch Sunday if he's feeling better. Roto
  14. I hope we win ,but I hope Theriot goes hitless in all his AB's so we can get him on the bench and get Cedeno to be evreyday SS
  15. I know it may not be fasionable, but I still would prefer to not give into the Pirates early season strength (and that killing lefties). I would almost like to see Lieber start, let him go 5 innings, atleast. Have Marshall pitched 2 innings, and then finish the game with Howry and/or Wood. So that's the major problem with playing two LONG Extra inning games, you leave yourself thin for a couple of games. Ditto..I really wanna see Lieber in there.
  16. The Sullivan article says Marquis is still not over the flu so he won't be able to go tonight
