  1. Thanks! Watch out for fireworks in the game tonight: the Brewers just got three-hit by a rookie making his starting debut (even though they were all HRs), and tonight they're facing one of the best pitchers in the league. I predict eight runs on ten hits, and at least three HRs.
  2. I would assume that a good number of those walks on the Milwaukee end can be attributed to crappy pitchers rather than the intentional pass. Among just the starting pitchers from 2003-5 are included such luminaries and control artists as Wes Obermueller, Matt Kinney, Wayne Franklin, post-All-Star-break-day-game-Victor Santos, and yes, everyone's favorite pitcher around here, Glendon "shelled by the pitcher" Rusch.
  3. Jason Lane's game-winner traveled approximately forty feet. Seriously, though, it was estimated at about 325. That's what fans of teams that play in major league parks call "fly out to left." There was also a force-out at first that was ruled an error because the ball was jarred from Fielder's glove after he touched the bag. I'm not going to talk about that one any further. It makes me angry. We Brewer fans have seen some really bad calls lately (see: Strike Zone, Tom Glavine, 4/14/06)
