What inspiring words. This is the sort of thing that causes people to rejoice over back to back over .500 seasons, complacency and willingness to accept mediocrity as improvement. You're happy with a team that's under .500 since he took control? I can't imagine what he'd have to do to make you unhappy. I agree. That's what bugs me about some of the things people say about the cubs (not necessarily on this board). They talk about being decent and being happy with that.
