  1. Did anyone investigate after Reed Johnson was hit in his AB after robbing Fielder a few weeks back? Gonna need to start a chart or somthing to keep track of who owes who a bean ball.
  2. Warning...attempt at humor.... So, say he was pitcher/manager. When he is on the mound and started talking to himself, would that count as a coaching visit? Could he only talk to himself one time before taking himself out? Thank You, I'll be here all week!
  3. I heard part of this program this morning as well, and remember them also saying he isnt in the HOF is because he made so many people, who are now on the veterans committee, mad at him by clicking his heels in NY, and that the cubs already had 3 Hofer's from that team. Go Cubs--p.s. I'm not wearing any Cubs clothing, hats, or jerseys until they score at least 4 or more runs in 1 game (Win or Lose) Santo never once clicked his heels in NY. That routine was limited exclusively to Wrigley Field. Yes, it did make a lot of people mad, and I'm sure that they haven't forgotten it to this day. But remember, those veterans committee members were not the ones voting for the HOF from '79 through '04 when Santo was going through his period of eligibility; it was the sportswriters. The veterans committee, which holds Santo's fate now, has, to the best of my memory, never voted anybody in. In the final analysis, there are 9 thirdbasemen in the hall of fame who played in the major leagues. Ron Santo, arguably, has better numbers than 6 of them. The whole system is a joke !!! I understand this... just repeating what they were talking about on the radio this morning about 6 am. Thats what the boys on 1650 were sayin' not I....I think every Cub fan knows Ron has gotten hosed on the Hof deal. That's what 6 a.m. Saturday morning radio will do for ya!

  5. I agree and hope he keeps the quality AB's rollin'
  6. Sorry if it was posted elsewhere but Pie's weekend went like this: Over the past four games, 10-for-17 with six runs, a double, two triples, a home run (Grand Slam) and 11 RBIs, including nine in the past two games. He's also 3-for-3 in stolen bases a Game Winning RBI in the 11th Sunday, and is currently batting .476
  7. Thanks! Cool....good info in the guidlines too...i'll try to be a good boy
  8. Yet another example of why this is an awsome board! NSBB Rocks! Since this appears to be the help thread, are the bleachers still GA or are they assigned seating now?
