Dealt with some injuries and a lot of timesharing this year, but he's a year removed from 3 straight 11 sack seasons. Does turn 33 during the season though. I think he would be a good pickup though, if the Bears develop a DE from the draft also. Give him a contract similar to what guys like John Abraham got. PFF's thoughts:

So Mundy will wear number 21...guess that is a pretty good sign that Major Wright is gone. Also, Houston will wear number 99, and Shea will have to wear something in the 50's with his move to LB.

The Graham being classified as a TE situation can't hurt But...they had $1.9mil in cap space before the Byrd signing...they're going to be in cap hell for a long time. This Byrd contract has to be heavily backloaded. Here's the Saints payroll without Byrd added in (no contract details yet): http://overthecap.com/teamcap.php?Team=Saints&Year=2014 Not sure if those numbers reflect Malcom Jenkins leaving for the Eagles, but they are also expected to release Bunkley and Grubbs. Also, Sproles was still on that list. Right but, Sproles hasn't been cut or traded yet. Are they allowed to be over the cap right now?

@djdurkin raiders used houston frequently as a weakside OLB in their 30-front, as well as both a 3/5 technique in their 40-fronts. strong edge setter.

Apparently Brad Biggs pointed out on the radio this morning that since 1999, the Bears have drafted two players that have gotten double digit sacks in a season. Roosevelt Colvin did twice, and Mark Anderson did it once during his rookie season, then never again.
