true, but if rose is healthy/good, the bulls are borderline title contenders. i think even without rose, they win a similar amount of games as the heat next season. I know we're not done, but I think if Rose goes down and Hinrich is playing 30+ minutes a night, we're a .500 team at best currently. And that's with no other injuries. We literally have no one that can create their own shot. If Miami IS healthy, I see them as much more than a 45 regular season win team though. And since Wade hasn't actually re-signed yet, I've got a feeling he's taking much less to surround himself with a better core than they've got at present too. So you're assuming worst case scenario for the Bulls vs best case scenario for the Heat?

Cutler throwing bombs, and McCown throwing shorter passes. [expletive] I'm ready for football.

Smith saying that he still doesn't think Melo leaves money on the table, but one of the thoughts is that he signs a 2 year deal and then re-ups for the max after that.

This whole thread has been about the "East is over". And I responded to a post that mentioned 3 eastern teams also. If the bulls got melo would you even favor the Cavs? I would not. That's a near 50 win team adding melo rose and Mirotic. If they get Melo, do they have salary room for Mirotic? Seems like from what I've read it'll be tough.

Why on earth would you want Wade? He's a broken man. Because perhaps he'd be willing to take less to come here and even as a broken man he's the best FA outside of bosh and melo. Well that's not true. Nobody wants Wade. Lance Stephenson will be the next most sought after FA.
