  1. And baseball playoffs aren't crapshooty? Where did I say they weren't? Well then why would you use hockey playoffs being crapshooty as an argument? It was weird. Baseball is definitely far more crapshooty than hockey, imo, because you aren't affected by pitching rotations. The Cubs might well be better. That's just not a good reason for arguing so.

  6. I kinda like the 84' Padres one.
  7. The Bulls are the bottom of the Chicago sports barrel at this point.
  8. Hahaha...60 points on 50 shots....that's the most Kobe game of all time in his finale.
  9. Meh, I still like Spiegel and Goff. Mully and Hanley are like the Scully and Hitchcock of the Score...and B&B's problems have been more than covered. Spiegel and Goff are a good middle ground...I don't always agree with their thoughts, but I find them entertaining enough. They're the only show I listen to on that channel anymore.
  10. I have no idea what's going on there It's not so funny as to try to teach you twitter.

  12. Twitter was quite enthralled with this stupid ESPN piece on LaRoche. Magary breaks it down: http://deadspin.com/espns-insane-adam-laroche-puff-piece-features-laroche-l-1770710009

  14. Whoa. That would be a rather fortunate turn of events.
  15. Well it's not like he can do a lot else right now. Even if he doesn't end up catching again, it's a way to keep his mind on baseball during a long injury recovery.
  16. If the rotation holds intact it looks like I'll see Hendricks twice and Lackey once this summer.

  18. I believe watching the Cubs win is much better. Much. I enjoy the schadenfreude, but yeah.

  20. And that's the "good" Cardinal forum. To be fair, there are quite a few very good posters over there. But there are are also a number of irrationally homer-tastic, meatball, delusional wingnuts, a few of whom are the ones keeping that particular discussion going. Viva el Birdos isn't that bad on balance, either. Cards Talk is a total cesspool. Birds on the Bat is also awful.

  22. I'm seeing 27.8% edit: or 49.9% That's the chance to win the NLCS.
