    I'm not listening, but like those that refuse to believe that LaStella can hit a baseball, I refuse to believe Coomer can be interesting or insightful. You must me be mistaken.

    Even casual fans know this team is good, so they're coming to the park ready to cheer. Give them a break. It's every single fly ball........ I realize...but this team is expected to do well, and thus the bandwagon is enormous. Everybody's mom, grandma, kid, and weird uncle is going to games this year...probably a lot of them that didn't come the entire time the Cubs were bad. So they cheered a little prematurely. Big whoop.

    I wasn't even 2 yet when that series went down, so I have no genuine feelings about that series. That hat rules. That's like wearing a commemorative 2003 hat with Marlins colors. Except the 84' Padres style is much, much cooler than the 2003 Marlins colors.

    Check out the Nats. They've only played 2 games against the not-Braves so far and lost one of them. Oh their competition takes a giant step up this weekend with a series against the Phillies. I get your point, but the Phils really have played some not terrible baseball.

    Be sure to remind their fans that 100% of their wins are against the Braves and Brewers. Check out the Nats. They've only played 2 games against the not-Braves so far and lost one of them.

    actually for me the buried lede here is that tommy birch kept his job after being caught with a hooker. Everyone should keep their job when they're caught with a hooker unless she's underage or dead.

    The reason that Kobe game happened last night is because Kobe still thinks of himself as a star. Even if he wasn't a shell of his former self, I don't see him ever taking a "role player" type role to prolong his career. I think he views retiring now as still somewhat "going out strong", as delusional as that might be.
