  1. Syndergaard apparently told the Mets PR guy not to let reporters near his locker, and then got mad at the PR guy when reporters came to his locker anyway... [tweet] [/tweet] [tweet] [/tweet]
  2. ROFL at the embedded video... http://deadspin.com/bears-trade-up-to-take-mitchell-trubisky-with-second-pi-1794726284
  3. The story about his daughter helping him and then hating it is wonderful.
  4. If I'm a regular viewer of Intentional Talk, I'm going to continue to watch it on MLBN. Little chance of MLBN losing viewers because of this. Instead, they're going to make additional money from ESPN paying them to be able to air that content. I mean, they'll probably lose some regular viewers, which is why they are getting paid. Well, no...I mean. Yeah they may lose some viewers, but that's not why they're getting paid. They're getting paid to allow someone else to air content that they produced.
  5. lol, next time just ask them what time it is there.
  6. Which means it will be watched more on espn2, because it's in more households, right? That's why I don't understand this. If espn is shedding talent, why is a competing network bailing them out? 7. Everybody should've followed my lead in rooting for the Bulls to lose that game against NJ.
  8. Yeah I enjoy that show too. I can understand why some wouldn't though.

  10. [tweet] [/tweet] Picking up...meaning simulcasting it? Or it's moving from MLBN to ESPN?

  12. Nice, I forgot to even check mine last night.
  13. None of them were fired, they were laid off. There's discussion of this in the Sports Media thread in the Other Sports forum, but if you want a good explanation of the "why", this article is good. http://deadspin.com/espns-latest-layoffs-are-just-a-way-to-buy-time-1794678629 But nobody was fired for performance.
  14. Robin Lundberg from ESPN Radio NY is out.

  16. So far. Cuts still going.

  21. ESPN is laying off something like 100 on air employees today.
  22. I haven't gotten it to work either. Using the NBC Sports app on Roku, signed in as a Directv customer...but it says that I'm blacked out on Cubs games. It's not a huge deal because I can still watch on another tv in the house that has the directv receiver, but it's still annoying.
