  1. I think we're a little past the stage of teams taking their opponents likely. I didn't say it was likely. :D
  2. You gotta really be looking to see Grossman as "Otherwise mostly awful". For comparison, here are the other passer ratings in the playoffs so far... Peyton Manning: 39.6 Steve Mcnair: 49.9 Drew Brees: 96.2 Jeff Garcia: 88.2 Matt Hasslebeck: 66.9 I missed the articles about Manning, Mcnair, and Hasslebeck being "mostly awful". Grossman had an ok game. That's pretty much all anyone was wanting from him. Leave the guy alone.
  3. I need a week to recover from this one.
  4. I hope the Saints take the Bears lightly.
  5. I agree with raw on the block in the back...it was pretty clear that it was the only guy that had a chance at Hester.
  6. Worse defense? The Saints defense is ranked 4th in the NFC, with Seattle at 9th. Saints gave up 4.9 ypc this year, only team worse was the Colts. They did do well in ypc passing, but they gave up a 2nd worse 26 TD passes. I will give you that they are better statistically than Seattle. But I'm more confident with the Bears O against the Saints D than the Seahawks....especially outdoors. Well, I'll give you that. However, I think at this point the Saints O is better than the Bears D. Especially considering y'alls last few games. You'll have the top passing offense in the NFL up against a defense that, not counting this last game, has given up 283 yds and 3td's to Kitna, 268 yds and 3td's to Rattay, and 356 yds and 3td's to Bulger. Your secondary is suffering. The corners are playing well, but the safeties are struggling. I'm guessing it'll be a reasonably high scoring game next week.
  7. Tillman played great today. It really showed why he was missed.
  8. I see Duece doing more damage than Bush. Bush is more of an outside runner, and the Bears cover that really well. Alexander got his yards down the middle.
  9. I'm telling you right now Roast, I'm going to quote this post next week when appropriate. :D
  10. Fitting that it would fall on Robbie!
  11. D line is tired and Alexander is exploiting it.
  12. So Seattle won the toss, but did they ask to receive or defend? Where's Marty Morningweg when you need him?
  13. 3rd and 1, and they'll go for it on 4th again, so we need 2 stops. And we didn't get it.
