Hill and Marquis have been inconsistent. I'd love for you to bring some facts with you to prove Marshall's inconsistency. It'd be fun to watch you try to prove it. It's be fun to watch you not be a jerk. Insults are against member guidelines. Stop it. -
How is Marshall inconsistent? OK, I guess he has yet to prove a leaning towards inconsistency and if the playoffs started today I would slot him as the #3 starter. I'm still not comfortable with that. Why? 2 bad outings all year.

2nd best starting ERA in baseball. Only Marquis has an ERA above 4. So, you're comfortable with Hill, Marquis and Marshall starting a playoff game? I'm comfortable with Zambrano, Lilly, Hill/Marquis/Marshall starting in the playoffs.

Huh? This is rare for Marshall. He's been consistent all year long. Yeah I love the portayal of Marshall as a terrible pitcher because he's having a rough outing.

Who?! I can't think of anyone on the station smart enough... I know! The other guy was pulling out all the cliches, but it was amazing to hear that on air. I'm just shocked. I may never listen to 670 again. Unfortunately 1000 is barely audible here through the static. I've emailed the station about it and they say they can't broadcast with full power to the south because it would conflict with WOKY in Okalahoma City. The weird part about that is that WOKY is actually on am920 out of Milwaukee...so I don't know what he's talking about there.

Just gotta say, I'm not a big fan of the whole "who we can't afford to lose" discussion. It's kinda like the Cubs injury thread...it's just bad mojo.

You should not talk religion in the workplace, ever. Agreed. Potentially divisive subject matter isn't good for the workplace environment. Politics and Religion are big no-no's for me.

I definitely agree with that. It's a much tougher schedule so I think their regular season record will drop a bit despite being a better, deeper team. We'll see...it might be a tougher schedule, but we also still have something like the 2nd easiest schedule in the league.

I think Hester should be in there...he won a couple of games more or less on his own last year...or at least kept us in them...like the Arizona game.
