I'll add that PWill still looked tentative to me but Woo still brings the energy and hustle. He always seems to make things happen when he's on the floor.

I guess we should get this one started with the first pre-season game last night. I know it's only one game so I don't want to overreact much in either direction but I have to say as a very vocal critic of Vooch last season that he looked pretty good last night especially on the defensive end. Ayo looked good and so did Caruso but the team defense was awful. The offense was stagnant most of the time. Zach only played the first half and Coby didn't play much with a minor leg injury. I don't expect him to add much to this season's team but I loved Dalen Terry's performance once he finally got in. Super high energy and what appears to be a high ceiling. Ultimately I think the Bulls are going to struggle big time without Ball. He's just so important on both ends of the floor. Hope he can get back early 2023.

Ha! Certainly not calling it but I'm starting to get a weird feeling about this game. This NFL season has been extremely screwy already and this seems like a game the Bears have no business winning right now so I almost expect it to happen. Watch Fields come out and throw for 300+ yards and 3 TD's while Cousins has multiple picks and the Vikings fall flat on their face at home.

Short passing is always there for teams with talent at receiver. The bears are bottom of the barrel at receiver. The 1 guy they have is not a short threat. They don’t have anybody they can rely on for 4-6 yard gains over and over. Yeah, talent helps. But put Kmet's big ass out there or EQ St. Brown, they are good blockers and big enough bodies to muck things up a bit for Pettis or Mooney to get 4-5 yards. Then you just have to worry about Fields actually seeing it fast enough to throw it before a penalty for blocking and then them actually catching the ball. The Bears are just 4 easy steps away from being able to complete a competent NFL offensive pass! Kmet is a good blocker? -

Either I need to get my eyes checked or I truly don't know jack horsefeathers about football because I thought Fields showed some great flashes yesterday. The pass downfield to #18 (I don't even care to learn his name) was perfect but the [expletive] couldn't catch a ball that hit him in the hands. He had several impressive throws to me. The biggest problem yesterday IMO was a tossup between the OL and play calling. He may not be the answer but Fields is FAR from the problem with this team. -

Had a 6 way teaser and the only part I missed on was over 45 in the Buffalo-Baltimore game. Ended at 43 horsefeathering points. That was the one part of that bet that I was most sure of. Would have been a perfect weekend. Bet that the first score of the Bears game would not be a TD so that one hit too.
