  1. LaVine will not play tonight. His season debut will come in the home opener tomorrow.
  2. Possible. From what I've read they always expected LaVine to miss the first 2 games and make his season debut on Saturday at the UC. We'll see if that is what ultimately happens. I think it's going to be an issue all year though off and on, and we'll possibly be getting the much less effective version of Zach that we saw in the 2nd half last year If he's only playing some of the games we better get at least 90-95% of his potential when he's in there. Otherwise just let him sit until he's 100%. No reason to run a half ass LaVine out there again.
  3. One thing I really loved is when Drummond got a T late in the game with the Bulls clinging to a 5-6 point lead it was Ayo who got on him about keeping his cool. He's already starting to show leadership skills even with the vets. I've also seen several times how he's always asking questions of the vets & coaches just trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible.
  4. Man, what a game last night. No LaVine, no Ball, on the road at Miami, and we come out with a win? Hell yeah. My brain told me to expect at least a slight drop-off this season for DeRozan but I'm not so sure he won't be even better after last night. Vooch was great in pre-season playing more in the post with his back to the basket but reverted to last season Vooch which was a bit disappointing. But he attacked the boards with a vengeance and played better D than I remember from most of last season. Ayo is already showing major improvements. I love that kid so much. Dragic & Drummond are going to be major upgrades from last year's bench. And am I the only surprised to learn that Drummond just turned 29 a couple months ago? For some reason I though he was at least early 30's. Caruso is Caruso. Dude is solid and you know exactly what to expect from him each night. Just need to keep him healthy as much as possible. PWill is frustrating. He showed some flashes in pre-season of what he can be but he disappears too much in regular season games. Starting to lose hope with him. I have to remind myself that he just turned 21 in August so maybe the light will still come on eventually. Ayo is about 18 months older that Pat. Coby seemed to show that he's becoming a more all around player but I want to see him become more consistent with his shot. I know it's a big if but if we can be healthy down the stretch this team could be a very tough out in the playoffs. Problem is we still don't have anyone to match up with Giannis.
  5. It's top 4 protected I wonder if I can place a bet that the Bulls end up in the lottery with the #5 pick.
  6. I double checked. He did sit out the last pre-season game but still. I was not expecting him to miss any time already.
  7. FML. We owe Orlando next year's first round pick too, right? Does that have any protection in case we end up in the lottery?
  8. Give me Rizzo vs Schwarber in the WS. Living in Texas I want NO part of Houston making it again. Their fans are insufferable.
  9. Yeah, the fact they listed LaVine as questionable surprised and concerned me. That means he's 50-50 to play tomorrow. He played all 4 pre-season games if I'm not mistaken.
  10. In what world does Alabama win out and NOT make the playoff? I know you have 99% but they would be 12-1 with an SEC Championship and the only loss a last second FG on the road against a likely 11-1 SEC team.
  11. There’s a large gap between those two and Tennessee? I am not convinced either Georgia or OSU are on a much higher level. But Tennessee did give up 49 points. Personally I am not sold on them being the 3rd best team. To be honest, they only beat Alabama at home because of a missed FG Are we going to play that game now? Georgia barely beat Missouri and struggled against Kent State. Alabama is a damn good football team and Tennessee beat them. Period. Sure they gave up a lot of points but they also scored a [expletive] against the Tide.
  12. There’s a large gap between those two and Tennessee?
  13. I follow a guy in another forum and went 6-1 yesterday. Only loss was a stupid teaser I put together based off some of his picks. Illinois killed that one early. If I could keep myself from making my own NFL picks I’d be profitable every week based off this guy. He’s a horsefeathering wizard when it comes to college football.
  14. Even if that FG is made that would not have "iced" the game. It would have given WAS an 8-point lead. That's still a one score game.
  15. Fields said explicitly that he has to make that throw. Why is this even a discussion?
  16. Leave March Madness alone.
  17. nothing will ever top 2016, once i came to terms with that it got easier I tried to explain to people that know me that the one Cubs World Series was better than the other 10 Chicago championships (Bears, Bulls x 6, Blackhawks x 3) I've witnessed combined.
  18. Deshaun Watson has requested a trade to the Giants.
  19. Bama will play better with Bryce Young back but it’s still going to be a dogfight.
  20. horsefeathering Fresno State just ruined my weekend. All I needed was them to stay within 7 points and I would have hit a 4 team parlay that paid 10-1. :banghead:
  21. Saban gave Jimbo the gift of a timeout there and he still shits his pants on the play call. Unbelievable.
  22. OU getting bitch slapped up and down the field. Lincoln Riley made a timely exit from Norman it seems.
