I think it's an evolution that is going to happen. When they do leave the NCAA they will probably realign again into geographic regions/leagues and have some type of 8 or 12 Team playoff system. Where does this leave ND? lol, they may have their own league and just make the playoffs every year. I'm sure ND will be included. They are a big enough draw. -

Just posted about this in the college football thread. About a decade ago I went to a luncheon with Jackie Sherrill as the guest speaker. He called this realignment down to 4 conferences back then. The additional prediction he made was that the 4 super conferences would leave the NCAA and govern themselves. -

ESPN is doing a mock draft show right now and they have the Bulls taking Malaki Branham from Ohio State. He shot just under 42% from 3-point range in his one college season but he took less than 3 per game on average.

You just HATE to see it. I’d say UT is maybe the 4th best program in Texas right now. Breaks my heart. Lol. I honestly don’t think Sark is going to succeed there. I guess we will see. They’re in for a rude awakening when they face an SEC schedule. Manziel saved us for the first couple years but once he was gone we found out just how tough it really is compared to the Big 12.

Could be. But from what I’m told Texas @ Texas A&M is already official for 2025. Even if they join before then there may not be a game before ‘25 although I assume we will play them every year. If we have to play them I’d rather it be a soon as possible. Our program is way ahead of theirs right now.

O/U 3 fan brawls in the Omaha stands? It’s only baseball so I wouldn’t expect anything like that. Now in 2025 when Texas returns to Kyle Field all bets are off. For that one I may be in the Texas family section too. My best friend’s kid is dying to play there and I think he’s got a real shot. That would be so weird for me.

I'm not necessarily all in on Gobert but we have to move Vooch and find someone to matchup with guys like Embiid and Giannis if we want any shot in the East going forward.
