  1. The dude is in Hot Tub Time Machine, for Christ's sake. Of course he's legendary.

  3. When is the last time a Cubs catcher had a triple?

  5. No, I don't think he should be booed as much as he is, but I certainly understand why it happens. If you can't figure that out, I think there must be something wrong with you. Wait, what? Of course everyone knows why it's happening. The point is that it's stupid to get on a guy every single game when he hasn't even done anything remotely "bad" in that game. It's not "understandable;" it's stupid scapegoating that makes the fans look dumb. Even the best players are going to make outs, so getting on a guy for simply making the 3rd out in the 2nd inning of a 0-0 game when nobody else had gotten a hit to that point is ridiculous. What's stupid is continuing to whine about it on here. It's going to be happening as long as Soriano is on this team.

  7. Earn his paycheck? Sure, but it's beyond moronic to single him out when he strikes out when nobody else on the team has a [expletive] hit. Because the fans are booing him based off that one at bat? They're booing him every time he makes an out regardless of what else he's done in the game or what anyone else has done. It's stupid. What else has he done?

  9. Not make an out the rest of the season, make no errors, balance the national budget, get unemployment under 5%, and find a cure for cancer. Then maybe he won't get booed. Or stand by a naked Marisa Miller. fixed
  10. Sadly, Bud Selig does not have that power. If he did, the blackout rules would be a lot better. As bad as Selig is, the government is much worse when it comes to using common sense. Who is responsible for the blackout rules then? You don't get a FSN Astros station? Not at work.

  12. Somebody get Bud Selig's office a GD map. I cannot watch this game on MLB TV because of the blackout. HELLO! Houston is 5 [expletive] hours from Dallas. It's no closer than St. Louis is to Chicago.
  13. Anyone know where Santo is today? I tuned in a little late.
  14. Cashner was a closer at TCU. At least he was his SR year when I saw him pitch.
  15. This thread is disturbing.
  16. Like Harry was great at it? Like 75% of the dumbasses that do it now are great at it? Exactly. It's crap regardless of who does it. I abhor the endless parade of morons who come through every day. It's been 12 years of this crap. Just let Santo do it every day and get it back to the way it was when Harry was still alive.
