Case in point: Michael Jordan. Tiger, Ali, Ruth, etc., etc.. I'm wary of Pujols because he's so great yet apparently also a great person. He must be hiding something really horrible. Like a whole closet full of used syringes?

Sar-chasm. He tweeted that Matt Painter was going to Ball St (his alma mater) for 7 years, $70K per with use of a pickup truck. People were too dumb to notice the obvious joke and started asking him if it was true and then asking other reporters if they had heard about Painter going to Ball St. So then he said that Knight was going to Purdue for 3 years/$30M, again making it obvious that he wasn't serious with those details. Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I read it on another forum and it was posted by someone that obviously missed the joke.

Because it probably has been made, but they just aren't announcing it to try to generate trade value for Silva. But if an executive from another team knows this, isn't the cover blown?

MLBTradeRumors says an executive from another team told the NY Post that Cashner will be in the rotation. How would someone not in the organization know this when supposedly the decision hasn't been made?

You act like any conference the last ten years has produced a ton of great pros. Psst they all skipped college or came from Europe. With a few exceptions. Yeah, but no one any good came from the Big 10. Deron Williams is decent. Among the 10 best in the league. That's because he's from Texas.

Was I the only one disappointed that Silva had a good start the other day? Just when I thought he had pitched himself off this team clearing a spot in the rotation for Cashner, he goes and pitches well.

Was anyone aware that there is a 4th post season tournament? I got a voicemail from Matt Doherty asking for support tomorrow night as SMU plays in the Final Four of the CollegeInsider.com tournament. I had no idea this even existed.
