    I'd be shocked if Theo was consulting Rizzo & Lester (or any players really) on any deal. Maddon, sure. You may be right, but I think Lester asked for that before signing here (to be consulted on potential big deals). And with any other guy I'd say you are 100% correct but when its a guy who already had an incident with Rizzo I would lean towards he at least ran it past him. Didn't David Price and Big Papi hate each other before the Sox signed Price this offseason?

    That's what I'm afraid of. I'm glad Theo & Jed are in charge but part of me worries that we won;t be able to make some very necessary deals because other teams think we will be desperate due to the history of the club and also because we have a ton of talent in the minors. The problem is that it seems teams are requesting players that are helping our MLB team rather than our guys in the minors, which isn't usually what a contending team is interested in doing. I want to read about a rumor that involves Happ, Torres or even Eloy. True. I think that's one big reason why Cashman is so hot for Schwarbs. He's a major league player but due to his injury he's not a factor this season.
