I bought 6 shirts and a magnet. Can't find the hat I want in my size. All sold out right now. Sent my sister links to several more items I want so her & my mom can buy them for Christmas gifts. Ha ha!
This One's For All The Cubs Fans Who Didn't Live Long Enough To See It Haven't read this yet because I don't want to cry at work but I wanted to make sure I posted this so I could read it tonight at home. :flythew: :flythew: :flythew: :flythew:
I thought someone said a page or 2 back that there were $100 covers Go to G-Man Tavern just past The Metro. Drank there all last weekend. No cover and $4 beers. They were taking donations for a local charity at the bar but that's it.
QB? I thought they called him Cowboy Joe? Yeah not sure where that or "Country Joe" came from. But he was a star quarterback in college. Pretty sure he put out a country album (song?) back in the 80's or so.
I got to meet Dorothy last night, the 90-year old Jägermeister drinking fan. She was quite the popular person. She seemed to enjoy it but her daughter wasn't too thrilled.
I had a dream last night where Chapman struck out some Indians schmuck to win Game 7 of the World Series. It seemed real so I choose to believe it wasn't a dream but that I actually saw into the future. Win, Cubs.
Most bars here are charging stupid covers or table minimums. We got into Murphy's around 10:30am and it was already about half full. They took pretty much all the tables & chairs out. Huge line to get in now.
We're talking a minimum 8peat here, Bob. You missed the comment that followed Boris's. Dammit, I did. I'll serve my punishment by having to spend the day with John Lackey brushing his teeth. :(
