  1. That’s a low bar, though.
  2. Yeah, Jacksonville isn’t great but the Bears kicked their asses. That’s what you’re supposed to do to mediocre teams. Sure the schedule gets tougher but the team is also improving every week. I’m not ready to say they’re a playoff team yet but they’re definitely heading in the right direction.
  3. Man, what a fun horsefeathers game to watch. I’m trying not to get too excited for the future as my luck seems to dictate whenever I start getting confident my team seems to almost immediately fall apart but it’s getting harder each week to temper expectations. Admittedly I was one that was unsure about Caleb before the draft and unimpressed with the first few weeks but I’m thrilled that he is already starting to prove me wrong. His progress the last few weeks has been most impressive.
  4. Lonzo is nothing more than trade bait at this point. They need him to prove he can still play and then he will be moved as we no longer can have good players.
  5. And I stopped doing it weeks ago when I realized how stupid it was.
  6. Can we put a moratorium on Fields mentions in the Bears game threads? It’s mind numbing to read this “he would have done this” or “he would not have done this” nonsense. It’s not relevant anymore.
  7. My niece gets married on Saturday. At least it’s a bye week for A&M but there are several good games I likely won’t get to see.
  8. A few things still concern me about Caleb. He holds the ball too long a lot, he missed several wide open receivers early (seeing them, that is) , and he has too many WTF throws that aren’t anywhere near the target. But damn he was really good today. And more importantly most of the issues listed above happened less & less as the game progressed. Keep getting better and stringing together performances like this and my Battered Bears Fan syndrome may be about cured.
  9. No idea where this A&M team came from but I horsefeathers love it.
  10. What a catch by Kmet and run by Swift.
  11. Now that was a great throw.
  12. Absolutely terrible. 90% of his yardage is on the one short pass to Swift who ran for about 30-40 yards after the catch.
  13. Nice kick, Shankappotamus.
  14. Likely but nothing is guaranteed with this team except lots of penalties.
  15. Caleb looked brilliant leading that 15 yard TD drive.
  16. I hope you aren’t expecting a coaching change during the bye week. And it’s not like giving these morons more time with the players is going to do any good.
  17. THROW THE horsefeathers BALL!!!!!
  18. I think that’s a prediction for Sunday, not a commentary on the first 3 games.
  19. His best pass of the night he was destroyed as he let it go. He saw the pressure coming right at him and still dropped a dime in the corner of the end zone.
  20. Do you think Josh Allen is the best QB in the league? Curious as to why he is the comparison here.
  21. Same here which is why I asked.
  22. So you think that’s Caleb’s ceiling? Not as good as Josh Allen?
  23. I’ve asked multiple Bears fans I’m friends with and only one said they’d take that deal. I was quite surprised.
