I think heyward catches that ball in RF, but I dont think it's fair to look at one play in a game where we got shutout and the indians left like 15 guys on base and go "yeah we need more defense" You don't think run prevention when nearly your entire lineup save one guy isn't hitting becomes a priority? Jorge Soler isn't the answer to our offensive struggles. The guys who normally hit well need to stop trying to be heros and we'll be fine but I'd rather roll with the team that got you through the LDS/LCS than decide that the low probability that Jorge Soler stops being who he is helps you more than Jason Heyward being who he's been all year. replacing jason heyward w/jorge soler, at worst, cost us one run. We'd have gone like 145-17 if that happened in the regular season. this loss is on the offense, that's it. trying to argue otherwise is extremely confusing
