Looked a lot more like gang warfare to me. Yes, it's a sports discussion forum and people are going to lose their [expletive] when the game turns wrong (and subsequently not get it together again when things turn out allright because the vibe has turned). But when it looks like there's going to be more pages bitching at each other than actual game thread talk during the game, it's time to step in. I've seen you literally almost ten years ago posting here, so, gonna defer to you. I just hate to see moderation after such an amazing win. Go Cubs - I hope this season and this forum turns around after the crux of yesterdays game.

It's super [expletive] lame that the game thread got locked. I mean seriously? Let us argue, who cares? Natural selection. If there's ever a time we shouldn't be fighting (and locking threads), it's after a game like that.

I take everything too seriously. You've seen my post history, right? Seriously though this forum can ostracize new posters sometimes. I try to defend them because I've seen a lot of people come and go on here (myself included), and it's just kind of sad to me. I know I'm illogical and emotional and too serious -- but I also want people to have fun here, and not be scared to hit the Submit button all the time.
