    Lou does not trust the bullpen. :lol: You'd think carrying all these damned extra relievers would give him a few more he'd be comfortable with. The team dropped down to 11 today-that probably is in the back of his mind. Z needs to come out-now. Earl Weaver used to use 9 or 10 man pitching staffs and a 4 man rotation.     I always thought if I were a pitcher, and some guy stared down a hr he just hit off me. I would hit the next batter or at least the guy who hit the hr off me, Bob Gibson style. But since he is scott schowenweiss, I would just say "fair enough"

    Would somebody be so kind as to explain to me why people call the Cubs the Cobs? It doesn't seem like an insult... at least not a good one. So I just don't get it. just saying cubs in a different way..spicing up life..getting a little variety..a change will do you good.
