    I came to the conclusion that I will no longer listen to anyone but this board when it comes to evaluating the bears. This conclusion brings me great peace.

    it isnt that this team doesnt have holes. its that no one AVAILABLE!!! you think cincy isnt going to demand hill or pie and gallagher(and more) for either dunn or griffey. dunn then turns into a fa after this year, and griffey has a lot of contract dollars left. also, cincy is going to be reluctant anyway to trade griffey 15 hrs away from 600. jay payton is awful, tori hunter is a pipe dream, ryan church is underperforming pagan, atl will not trade renteria, this team may have flaws, but they have also been the best team in baseball for TWO MONTHS. i want more power in the outfield but at what cost? and even if we are willing to pay, those teams might not pull the trigger anyway. btw hendry had a deal with zambrano done, he is blameless for not getting z signed.

    instead of starting a new thread just so it will show up on the front page, someone who hears something on the radio, tv, or read something on the internet could write a quick post to go on a breaking news section that would be on the front page. otherwise, i never have a problem with someone starting a thread to tell of breaking news even though there is a already made thread about the subject. the first thing i look at is the new thread section of the front page. its how i get my news.

    btw: rosenthal is a demon during the trade deadlines and offseason. guy finds out stuff lightyears ahead of everyone else.

    The offense salty brings to the table, if the other catcher prospect comes up sooner, you could move him to 1b. those are good deals that needed to be made for the rangers, imo of course.

    I heard a stat saying that walker was the 5th or 6th most productive dt since 2003. that incuded passing and rushing defensive statistics. omg this team is stacked.

    That's all I'm implying as well... If the game is on the line, then bring him in..not w/ a 5 run lead. Just my opinion. yeah and if they put eyre or petrick in and griffey puts one out, then all of a sudden it's 6-4 and it does matter truf, you cant pitch him everyday either, at some point you need to pitch everyone.

Which is what you should do when people make stupid statements: Yeah, I know I simplified the "great in 12 out of 19" thing, but it's a chat. So I gave him what he asked for: Nice response, guy. Way to back up your statements. So I continue the bust out: So to sum up, someone made the stock "Rex Grossman sucks" comment about the Bears season, and when called out on it, resorted to making stupid one liners and not actually backing up his assertions. USS 1, crappy BP chat guy -2.

    Yep, if only Howry would have made Jones slide. sliding wouldn't have made a difference. now slowing down around third and looping out like he was going into the dugout... Did you even watch the game? Everyone that saw it agrees a slide would have made all the difference. howry still gave up the run, who cares....
