  1. Woody taking the walk to the mound. 3 outs and celebrate.
  2. Constant humming. Packed house. It should be rumbling in the 9th.
  3. He pulls off everything with that "Japanese" swing. Why not step forward instead of bailing out? It's maddening to watch. It seems like that and he also stands to close to the plate. I wasnt expecting him to be great here in his first year. But not this brutal He has a good eye at the plate, but even when he reaches the outside pitch he doesn't do anything with it. I can't believe it's that hard of a thing to fix. Step forward not toward 1B. I teach 12 year olds this every summer. So Japanese pitchers can't pitch outside? This is why I'm still confused what's really going on. Fuku was a very, very solid hitter in Japan for an extended period of time. Sure, it's not MLB but there's talent there. Certainly enough talent to pound the outside on him. Yet he succeeded. There's got to be something more happening than just "MLB found a hole in his swing." They would have found that hole in Japan too if that's all it was. He's lost confidence or something. I don't know. You're probably right, but the biggest concern I have is his first step.
  4. I didn't realize CC was pitching on 3 days rest.......... WTF?

  6. Lilly looks better with his control this inning.

  8. Both lefties. I thought that was Cotts after I posted.
  9. The Shark and Marshall are up in the pen.
  10. That was a close pitch. Looked like it might be a hair outside.
  11. He still has the lead. Just get out of this inning so you have the middle and bottom of the inning to get someone warm.
  12. Glaus CRUSHED that. 5-4 Cubs. Get someone up Lou.
  13. Lilly's struggling a bit with his control here. Dang, Cardinal run.
  14. Yeah, I hear that. It would be tough to say it didn't have some effect on him.
