[expletive], JAB is out for 2-3 weeks with an arm injury. Might not be available for the Oct qualifiers which means we might not be able to cap tie him.

Do we even call European based players for Oct? Mikey will be allowed to rest, Jozy and Sunderland need lots of help. JAB and Aron are exceptions since both have played so little for the US and need time with the camp.

Horrible call that was, surprised Dicanio didn't kill someone. Ozil is a great fit at Arsenal, Giroud actually has been playing great too. Suddenly they look very dangerous.

Almost time to start thinking about seeds and a draw again. Would be awesome if somehow Iceland qualified and we could get stuck in a group with them and Iran. I don't see Columbia or Belgium pulling off #1 seeds and getting in a group with them would really suck unless they are #1 seeds. Outside of that I would take a group with Italy or Uruguay as a #1 seed. Want nothing to do with Argentina or Brazil, would take Spain, Germany or Holland over them. Despite the ranking I don't see Holland not as a #1 seed.

Yeah, just a terrible play by the GKer. He played that like the rest of the team either being scared of being run over or just didn't care. That was a HS goalie mistake. I'm still in a good mood today. Fascinating to think how much most of us wanted Jurgen gone 7 months ago. He's made some great in game adjustments the past 4 months.

The Panama game is going to be an exercise in "Don't get hurt, Don't get a 2nd yellow", so definitely that one at least. I didn't think yellows carried over to the WC. Random thought, if there was no Messi or Ronaldo where would we rank van Persie in the greatest strikers in the world right now.

If you don't mind getting there at 8-9 in the morning and waiting 2-3 hours for BBQ, Franklins is generally regarded as one of the top 20 restaurants in the country and its basically out of a doublewide. If you want some good breweries or bars let me know. Plenty to do, drink, and see. Hit up some of the beer gardens before the game and tailgating. Thankfully it's a night game in September.
