But...that happens in other sports too. How is that different from other sports though? Every sport has its coaching carousel. I would say the frequency is what makes it much more strange. Hockey is in line with it. I think we have had 5 manager changes in the EPL this season which is 25% of the league. Wenger has been with the same club 10 more years than the next nearest person on any level in all of England, found that to be interesting.

I think the problem is he has only played a couple of months of baseball the past 18 months and was hurt for part of that. Didn't really participate in the showcases either. He might be better off now getting in 2 years of D1 baseball now. I think the fault is all his own with his uncle working for Scott Boras. I doubt he was pushing him towards football when he was graded as an 80 for speed and in the 50-60 range for his bat and defense. Could become an elite 2nd baseman or CF.
