  1. Tate Forcier is heading to Miami.
  2. Doesn't Smith have one of the highest Wonderlik scores ever too.
  3. It appears Gray is #1 on Munchak's list. Thats what I have also read but also heard that Gray is not interested at this time. Sounds like bad timing, as he was trying hard to get back to Austin this offseason. I don't know if he simply wanted out of the NFL, back in College, or just trying to be closer to home. Still he would be leaving a lot of money on the table to stay in Austin. No idea who Munchak might look at if Gray declines. Them having worked on the same staff and apparently being friends might just sway him, though. Yeah I won't be surprised if he takes it.

  5. The deadline now appears to be the 16th for a deal to be in place. Cards just lost about 3 days.
  6. That depends on who is worth more to the NCAA.
  7. Yeah, that would make sense. But the NCAA rarely makes sense. I am waiting for the NCAA to punish the Wake Forest baseball team for donating a kidney to one of his players for improper benefits.
  8. And we'll get sanctions from his tenure to boot. I'm happier all the time that Lane skipped town for USC. The NCAA is going to have to rewrite the rule book where sanction follow the coach wherever he goes.
  9. Yeah, all of those numbers are smoke and mirrors anyway after tax write-offs. 70%-80% of the teams could fit a $20 million contract into their payroll if they choose to do it and probably 20%-30% could afford a $30 million contract. David Wright also thinks the Mets will be affected by the Madoff lawsuit who will be selling off up to 25% of the ownership to pay for the settlement of that case. Finances could become more of an issue than people think.
  10. Yep, thats what stemmed my question. I haven't heard that he is interested but that he could be. I'm not even sure that Gray is interested as he just left the NFL to go back to UT and wants to be the next DC at UT. He even turned down more money from Pete Carroll to go back to Austin. Thankfully signing day, but having Gray is a huge plus towards recruiting and I don't want to lose him already.
  11. This is a move I can get behind, if for no other reason than sentimentality. We should continue to have a great line with Munchak and Matthews on the coaching staff, though. What are you hearing in terms in a DC?
  12. I can't stop smiling. This is about 15000000X better than the stanley cup was. that's totally unfair. you can no longer be a blackhawks fan. I like football a lot more than hockey. It is what it is. Can't speak for either fanbase, but the Hawks had the most anti-climatic championship ending in the history of pro sports. Only because of the announcing, if they had seen the puck it would have been one of the greatest ever.
  13. that sucked, if they could have just finished 28-25 I would have won the 4th quarter.
  14. Exactly, none of them are any good.
  15. London is a better choice right now than LA.
  16. If he is looking for 10/275 and the Cards are nowhere close then they really fucked up.
  17. Right now I am thinking both Texas and Kansas will be getting #1 seeds based on the remaining schedules.
  18. I thought I might have [expletive] up posting what I did. Pathetic showing, im getting frustrated with Wenger not wanting to spend to fix the problems. I'm not even sure its a matter of spending, to be honest. He shouldn't have removed Walcott, and money can't solve the problems of players being stupid. They condeded two penalties and a wonder strike to level. Obviously I'm biased here, but Arsenal are the kind of team that could use a Bradley or Jones or Dempsey. They need more fight in them, and those guys aren't all that costly. Clint is probably the priciest of the three. Arsenal have so, so much talent, but they fold at the worst times. So many of their players are soft. van Persie, Bentdner, Rosicky...all soft. They never really replaced Gallas as that leader in the back. Look at United. They have less talent that like 5 other teams in the Prem, but the guys they have in the spine of the team are hardasses, and they never ever give up on a game. And a big part of that is because Wenger doesn't want to sacrifice his style of play. The Diaby penalty was just stupid, though Barton could have broken his leg. I would like to see them at a Bradley type player in the back. The back line is also pretty weak and goalkeeping has been a question mark for 4 years. The bench is weak featuring the same type of players and not allowing him to mix it up based on the match up.

  20. 4-0 26 miuntes in as van Persie gets the brace. Bradley not in the 18 today for Villa.
  21. Theo Walcott scores 46 seconds into the match and Djourou scores two minutes later. Have fun coming back Newcastle without Carroll. 3-0 now, van Persie with the assist from Theo 10 minutes into the match.
  22. That site reminded me of a tabloid. I hope its a tabloid and thats not true.
  23. Cyrus Kouandjio wil not sign today according to the reports. Might open things back up.
  24. Just waiting to see what Rasco does, heard it was down to LSU and Texas. Odds are its LSU, just my gut feeling.
  25. Wow, Auburn put together a hell of an OL at the last minute.
