In 20+ years of watching soccer, I can't remember any have a tumble of that velocity off the boards. Really sucks for him especially in a game that was easily in hand and he could have just let the ball sail.

I'm honestly not sure he ever made contact with the guy's face. I thought he caught him, but it was very light. Still it was stupid to even do that, just don't put yourself in that position especially when you know your opponent is going down to 10 men.

I mean, that's a FAR better option to advance, but honest I'd rather see the US play Argentina because Argentina has been undoubtedly the best team in the tournament. At full strength I would agree. At this point we are so depleted I don't really want to see it.
