Didn't realize you could order multiple games at a time until I did my last 2 games. Oh well I got all the tickets I wanted.

Seems like when you get stuck behind the 3 dots the wait time is ridiculous. When you get going it isn't so bad if an hour could be called not so bad. :banghead:

Seems every 12-14 minutes or so I'm moving up a spot. Up to number 4.

This could take a long time for me to get my 5 games. At position 5 started at 6. It took 10 min. to move up a spot. Hopefully later in the day it goes more quickly.

Wouldn't more spots in line be a help.

I don't know that it's impossible to sell unused tickets for what you pay, it's just that there's not much to be gained. Also, with the presales they do, the few games where a profit could be made are mostly sold out before today's sale begins. For example, five years ago or so, I remember a bleacher seat for even a summer game would be around $44 or so. If I got through the VWR and purchased bleachers to White Sox or Cardinals, I could sell those for roughly $100 a ticket. If I got six of those, even after ebay and paypal fees, I could make a nice profit. It made it worth it to get some extras. Also, if I wanted to go to one of those games, the difference in buying 4 tickets at 44 or buying 4 at 100 was a big difference. Now, a marquee bleacher ticket is $72 and a platinum bleacher is $58. If I wanted to sell for an upgrade the margin of profit after paypal fees, etc isn't enough to make it worth the effort. Secondly, if I decide to go, the amount difference isn't enough to make me plop the money down 3 months in advance. My point still remains the same many of the amateur scalpers will be gone. That is true, so the wait in the VWR should be less. But, since anyone could have purchased during the 20% hike and the mini-plans included the high demand games, I think there will be less inventory of those to go around. If I knew I was going to White Sox or Cardinal games, I would have either paid the 20 percent premium or would have bought a plan that included those. Very true. Last year I planned on going to Chicago when the Cardinals were in town. I paid the price hike in the presale for the Saturday game to make sure I got that ticket.

With some of these posts talking about how it will be harder if not impossible to sell unused tickets for what they paid. I'm guessing the amateur scalpers will not be in my way when I'm trying to buy tickets. This year I don't think I'm going to have a problem getting the tickets I want though. Going for the Pirates and Mets tix the week before memorial day. would be nice to have them all bought by noon though. Did notice no 42 ticket minimum this year.

Or Ticketmaster's own secondary ticket subsidiary company is doing this.

So glad the NHL decided to follow what their rule back said should have been done.

Going on the Blackhawks board it looked like the stupid people are out in full force. The way I saw this game is the Pred's got lucky on the soft goal and the stupid giveaway. The Hawks were out skated in the 3rd. That is a concern but I think the Hawks end up winning this in 6 games though.

Still early but what we have seen out of Silva has been good. It would be funny if the Cubs come out smelling like a rose in the Silva/Bradley deal.

I get off work at 4. Doug Davis is pitching, so the 3rd inning will be over when I get off work. :-)) Things have not started out fantastic but man some of you are ridiculous with your over the top negativity. 6 games in and you want to blow the team up. I'm not ready do jump of the ledge yet.
