    I'm getting a single to Game 2. I just wish I could pay face for it. I'm having the same experience as you guys. Can't get to the section select page for Game 2 but can for Game 1, only to have it show sold out.

    I got my SI today and read the article this evening. Not sure if it's online yet, but I wouldn't stumble over yourself running to get it. It's a pretty typical recitation of the story we all know, told in the context of the writer going to the four-game series at home against Philly last month. Not much enlightening. Really plays up the "beer garden" argument for/against Wrigley Field.

    With Trent Green starting, I have to think Saunders will finally lean on SJ this week. I would go with him.

    D-Ro should be better after taking the rest of the week off. Oh, and glad to know Fuku still sucks.

    Sitting A-Pete can burn you badly, but I always want to see guys have one game where they don't show any lingering affects after getting a little hurt like he did. Tough call there, but I'd probably go with LJ. Wait, do you mean play LJ over A-Pete or Forte?

    I think I'm going to schedule a few "meetings" at Bar Louie in the CWE. I walked by there today and they had a sign out that said "$5 buckets of AB products all day." That can't be right. But I think I'm going to find out. :wink:

    I've got the same old dilemmas. This week, I can play two of A-Pete, Forte and LJ. I think I need to go with Forte again, even though LJ finally had a decent game.

    I know he's willing to pitch this much, but I wonder if it's more of him not wanting to say no. Like he thinks if he says no he'll look bad, like a greedy me-first guy. I don't think that would be true if he declined to pitch on short rest (again), but that could be a perception out there.

    Nice. I'm not a big fan of the "skybox" experience. Seems too detached for me. But for a preseason game, that's perfect. Buff seems like a real down-to-earth kind of guy. Here's hoping he keeps some of his scoring touch from last year.

    I'll probably watch for a few minutes tonight, but I'm taking some mental health time away from baseball right now. I'm expecting a wild October and need a breather to get ready.

    15 has, I think, 2 televisions and about 10 seats at the bar. You can only see the TVs from another 3-4 tables. It's pretty small. I would suggest the Tin Can (either location).

    There may be more posts in today's game thread before the game even starts than there were the whole game yesterday. Maybe not, but was surprised at this one. Um, I'll be traveling and will miss this one. And even if I was at home I'd probably mostly watch MNF. But still, go Cubs. Don't suck.
