    What NBC affiliate do you get? QC? I cant remember if its Peoria or QC, I think Peoria. I just noticed I have no locals right now for some reason, may be the flooding that occurred here this weekend, I dont know. Oh yeah, my fault. That would be Peoria. That sucks.

    I still can't believe we get this chance. This is Cubs-Cards in the NLCS. Bears-Packers in the NFC Title game.

    From NBC St. Louis' website: "NHL Conference Finals: Chicago @ Detroit" can be seen on WRBU, Channel 46 starting at 2:00PMCT. Total crap, no HD for playoff hockey. But whatever. LET'S GO HAWKS!

    I like your thinking! I just really think (hope) the Hawks have turned a corner at home in the playoffs and won't have any more dud performances. And the energy in that building is going to be crank up to an unbelievable level. I hope NBC and Versus do it justice. As for the first game, Osgood hasn't seen a blitz in these playoffs like he will Sunday afternoon.

    Hawks in 6. We take Games 1, 3, 4 and 6. Osgood gets yanked in one of these games, probably Game 3. As to the schedule, there are several two-day breaks in between games. Don't like it.

    Is that a rhetorical question? Just seems like WGN is on the way out for cubs broadcasts. It's been going that way for years. No reason for WGN to air the games itself when it/the Cubs could sell the rights to CSN.

    Yup. Leyland has quite the talent. It's got to be tough to be that animated and that angry but not touch the ump with anything but spittle. I wonder if he stands at home and practices with a cardboard cutout of Terry Tata.

    Yeah, no doubt Dye should be suspended. I look at it like high sticking in hockey. Even if you don't intend the result, you're responsible for your stick. If you start throwing stuff around, you're responsible for where it goes.

    This ump clearly put his hand on Ordonez. Seems at first look that he just put his hand on Maggs' arm. But if he shoved him at all, which I think he may have based on Maggs' reaction (and Leyland's), shouldn't the ump be suspended? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MySUwDRo1uw

    Honestly, I can hardly tell anymore. Toews-Kane-Brouwer Sharp-Havlat-Pahlsson Byfuglien-Bolland-Versteeg Eager-Burish-Ladd It's too early, my brain isn't working. But that's my best stab at what I've seen out there, at least in the Vancouver series. But I've seen Eager out there with 19-88, and various other combinations.

    Canada figured out how to handle tonight. TSN gave up a game to CBC in the next round so that CBC could carry one of the games tonight. But here in the country where all the remaining teams play? Crickets.

    I hope it starts Saturday and the ECF starts Sunday (the two game 7s getting the extra days rest). That would be logical but I heard this morning that it looks like they'll go Sunday. We'll know after tomorrow night! Gotcha, thanks. And perhaps this belongs in the other thread, but it is absolutely disgraceful that the NHL can't find a way to air both Game 7s tomorrow night in their entirety. Versus will be joining the second game in progress. What a terrible situation.

    Cyno, did you see somewhere that the WCF wouldn't start until Sunday? That would be great for me, since I have family in town all weekend and wouldn't be able to get away from them to watch the game.

    yes because everyone here is so obviously guaranteeing that the hawks are going to dominate the wings. Either way, it's going to be a brutal series. I wouldn't laugh if it happened, but I'm worried about everyone hoping we face Anaheim and then having them come in here and kill us. I don't know if I want home ice. The Hawks have had a tendency over the last few months to be very jittery at home. I'm concerned about leaving the UC down 2-0 to Anaheim. I am much more confident in the Hawks' ability to steal one up in Detroit and get used to their speed, then come home and let the home crowd help them.
