  1. What I take away is that at full strength the Hawks had much less difficulty getting out of their own zone. Again, at full strength, they were able to create a few chances and looked to carry the play. But as you said, the sample size for full strength was so small. EDIT: Also, the Hawks were able to control the puck well in the offensive zone, but were mostly contained on the outside. A couple of those passes into the slot will open up and Rinne can't stop everything.
  2. I hate bitching about Kane, I really do, but he's so useless on the boards and gets taken off the puck so easily in ways that Toews and Hossa never will. I say that though, and then he'll do something crazy and win the game.
  3. Well, this is a [expletive] PP.
  4. YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME BOLLAND! [expletive] [expletive] [expletive] [expletive]! Oh, okay, we got a PP.
  5. Time to even it out, zebras.
  6. Glad Nashville cleared the zone themselves since Madden couldn't do it. Jesus [expletive].
  7. Their fans are ignorant.
  8. [expletive]. Niemi is playing great but he can't do everything.
  9. This Harris Bank commercial with Seabrook and the taped pen always makes me chuckle.
  10. Toews, what don't you like about open nets! And now they get another PP. Perfect.
  11. Haha, we worked these losers on their own PP.
  12. That was a clean hit on Fraser. Kopecky, this is not the time.
  13. That was pretty and he came so close to finishing it. Good pace, but again I think the Hawks are having the better of things so far.
  14. Interesting, the Hawks are showing a little hard 2-man forecheck.
  15. I wish I had that excuse. I guess it was just, sorry, wishful thinking.
  16. Yes, and he did so upon a ridiculous premise. Of course there is reason to think Nashville could win tonight. They are a good team and anything can happen. But nothing that happened in Game 2 suggests it will happen more so than usual.
  17. Wow, I have no idea what game I was watching. I was watching for literally about five minutes thinking Detroit was losing. Even seeing your post didn't wake me up. #-o
  18. Wings are 5:00 from being in a lot of trouble.
  19. I love that. Did he notice any of the signs that his team got dominated and we narrowly missed two more goals? What a doof.
  20. ^Which is why it would be nice if SJ and Washington could get knocked out so the Hawks would have home ice all the way through. First things first though...oh, nevermind...I'll keep my neurosis in the Hawks thread.
