    For pure, raw excitement about a transaction? Garciaparra is the only comparable I can think of. Non-Cubs division, maybe Hossa. The excitement over Theo is, for me, second only to the day Bill Wirtz died.

    I don't even think the call was on him. But either way, if you are ever going to take a cheap shot on a player (which I don't like or condone) that is the time to do it, after you take away possession and have a kneel down to go before halftime. Meriweather is an idiot. He needs to stop that crap, especially in situations like that. I know the penalty wasn't called on him, but it should have been. He leads with his head every single time.
