This team is so much fun. They should get some huge respect from the home crowd on Tuesday.

Lockdown D. It's really reminiscent of 2010 how they are just so good at keeping teams to the outside and clearing the zone. Still some turnovers but it's rare. And lets be honest everything is going our way. Opponents aren't burying so many open chances.

Pat and Dale were hilarious. I think his act with Eddie has gotten pretty stale though he does still have his moments. And for straight call of the game, there aren't many better.

I think Brookbank has been more than serviceable and has improved since his first few games. But you're right our top 5 are so good he's going to look bad by comparison.

Yeah he's been putting that line out there for awhile about changing the way he plays. We'll see. If we are going to get "revenge," just send Bollig out to fight him. I don't want anyone getting suspended trying to kill the guy.

Was looking farther out at the schedule. After the Hawks get home Sunday night, their only road trips between then and March 7 are to Detroit and St. Louis. I like this season.

What are you one of those nutso Steelers fans who pretend that cutting down on cheap hits equates to sissification? Yeah, probably. But really if they are going to call a penalty on every hard check, it is sissification. I like that word. GTFOOH I'm not denying it.

That's fair. It was a bad call. If you want to call a charging minor for going after a "defenseless" player, that's fine I guess, although I don't know that the rules call for that. He got him high up in the shoulder area. There may have been a little contact with the head, but not much. And he didn't leave his feet until after the contact when he was falling down. If a Hawk player got a penalty at all for that, I'd have been ranting and raving about how the league might as well go no-check.
