In an attempt to be objective, I could see putting it ahead of basketball (mainly because I hate the way the World Basketball Federation is officiated) and I'd agree with goony that a comparison with football isn't really a fair comparison (really with any sport). I will blindly and biasedly (I don't know that to be a word) put baseball ahead of it all day, though. most playoff baseball games are just as boring as regular season games. Nah. On everything you just said. I've really become disinterested in baseball the last several years. In 2007-08, I was as rabid a fan as they come. And those October flameouts were obviously disappointing. But around that same time the Hawks were rising and I started watching a lot more of their games again, including the playoffs. And the excitement is just so much greater to me in hockey that it made watching baseball seem like something old people do to pass the time. Even when the Hawks are down, Pat Foley still has a pretty great gig. Even regular season games have energy. I just feel bad for Len and JD these days. Can you imagine watching that crap and trying to make it interesting every day? All that said, I admit I may be singing a different tune once the Cubs contend again.
