It was more important to keep Bickell than Bolland and/or Frolik. Good work Stan. And he's got some money to do something else too.

@ESPNChiHawks: Blackhawks now have $13,545,705 of cap space, according to http://t.co/diXS7NS2sW. I'm not saying I like the Frolik trade, just don't understand it yet. Interested to see the direction Stan goes with the fourth line. But remember we still have Smith, Hayes (both of them) and Pirri waiting for their chance. As someone said, this is how it works these days.

Now Frolik to Winnipeg for more picks. Wow. $2.3M is a lot to pay a fourth liner I guess but we didn't really have cap troubles after the Bolland deal.

I was just about to say I'd hate to see Stalberg stay in the division. Nevermind. As for Bolland, yeah wouldn't surprise me to see him moved today. And Buffalo has absolutely nothing at this point that would get them Kane. Nothing.

I would definitely pay to get CBC on satellite for their hockey coverage alone. Guess that's one (the only) good thing about living in Detroit.

Yeah looked like he just wanted to get free a quickly as possible so he could celebrate. I've watched that CBC "last two minutes" video on YouTube 10 times at least.

Haha I think he's done enough making amends for the Huet deal. But really a guy like Bolland will draw interest. Especially for teams needing to reach the floor.
