This. I don't "hate" Carlos or think he's done, but his tendency to lose it when his fielders make an error or don't come through on a borderline play is annoying. Then he throws his tantrums and accomplishes nothing and his team is in the hole. It's frustrating and aggravating, but please, IMB!, keep completely making up what people are saying. Those quotes all came in the last three pages. Go back, read them and then tell me that I made something up (you can't). Those quotes aren't saying what you're accusing them of. You're claiming people are "giving up on the team" or the season or whatever instead of recognizing that it's hyperbole when people are frustrated that the ace is completely crapping the bed, which is extension of how rough he's looked his last few starts.

He's giving up repeated opposite field singles that aren't "leaking" through. oh god i know, people are just crushing those opposite field singles. I'm surprised a couple of those 130 foot bloops havent gone over the fence. He was pitching for contact and trying to a get a double play ball basically the entire inning and you guys are acting like it's just blast after blast after blast. It's embarrassing. It's not embarassing. He had an incredibly sheety inning and we're commenting on said sheety inning. What are we supposed to do, tip our caps and nod politely and go about discussing the day's news ticker?
