  1. Dat's not 3. Get your glove up for that [expletive], son.
  2. A better defensive SS isn't making that one that close.
  3. Actually you should have "messed" yourself. 2 runs is not enough to win baseball games. Sorry, it's true. 2 runs is not enough to win baseball games? Are you serious? Plenty of games have been won with 2 runs or even *GASP!* 1 run.
  4. Or they just win it with 2 runs, you [expletive] spaz. Let me take you through our batting averages: .243 .287 .302 .263 .277 .234 .255 .150 Horrible. I refuse to believe you're not a fake screenname.

  6. Unclnech or just kindly STFU for a few innings. Please. I'll STFU when we get at least 3 runs off this scrub. No, you'll just find something else to complain about. You exist here seemingly only to complain about and bemoan everything about this team.
  7. No, but some people are desperate for offense. my point is that some people are okay with soriano at second which is crazy.... especially when we're talking about doing it to get a get who would be a rental player and might not even be that good out of coors to begin with. it would be a terrible move His numbers are better on the road.

  9. So I'm a liar because I've been saying he'd be a big letdown from Day 1 and I have the posting history to prove it? And not just a liar. An expletive liar. Oh my. Well you can be the last one to go down with the ship Cap'N. Bradley never convinced me, because these .765 OPS corner outfield jokers can make parts of seasons look good and yes, a .400 BABIP in Texas is ultimately quite convincing. And nobody would have any idea he'd have injuries to his legs. Give me a break. Oh you predicted doom and gloom, I'm [expletive] stunned. Yeah, badnews wants a cookie because one of his usual vague "this is going to fail" rants came through.
  10. MLB.com is flat lying to cover their ass. No they're not. The memo you referred to was never enacted or enforced by the MLB.
  11. Please be someone putting their foot down about the blubber.
  12. 5 Guys. In & Out is definitely good, but the burgers aren't as big or filling as the ones from 5 Guys, plus the 5 Guys' fries are worth it by themselves. The In & Out fries are just typical fries. I think In N Out is plenty filling, considering you can get a double double, 3 x 3, or 4 x 4 depending on how hungry you are. I usually just get a double double, but have gotten a 3 x 3 when I'm especially hungry. 5 Guys doesn't need to resort to piling on wimpy patties to make a burger more filling. 2 thick patties is more than enough.
  13. Steroids are NOT ILLEGAL in MOST of the Latin American countries. Pot is not illegal in Amsterdam. And if you bring either of those things back from those two places... you are breaking the law. I completely see what you are saying, though, and am not disagreeing. I was trying to tie both points together. You could, as a baseball player travel to the Dominican, do your offseason Sammy Sosa 'workout' and come back to the states. You haven't broken ANY American laws. However, in the eyes of the USOC, the NBA, the NHL, the NFL, and now MLB, you have cheated and broken the rules. THAT is why MLB MUST put rules in place. Professional athletes care squat about morals when big contracts are involved. Something enforceable has to be in place. Fine, but then retroactively going after players who did this BEFORE the new rules are in place is just a redundant witch hunt.
  14. You do realize the term "memo" has nothing to do with the number of pages, right? And your argument as to its validity is how long it is? Wow.
  15. I swear if I hear this one more time... This should be copy-pasted into every steroids thread in the original post so that stupid sentence can't be typed That memo was never enforced by anyone within MLB on any level. It's a moot point. It might as well have been a memo about lunch that day. coming from the then commissioner makes it very much not a moot point in regards to its relevance Except no commissioner actually enforced it. It was meaningless memo.
