  1. Hopefully Shark, but probably Berg It's Berg. Who pitches after Dempster leaves after 5? Guzman.
  2. Or they could have done the smart thing and actually called up another catcher when Soto went on the DL. Y'know, whatever.
  3. Um... He's not from Mexico. And what does interational mean? Thank you for the correction of the typo, but I'm really quite certain Alfonso Soriano is from Mexico. Have you heard him speak? He definitely speaks Spanish. I just wanted to say that your sig is awesome. Especially the little jig the guy does before he reaches third. That's a thing called a "slide."
  4. Agreed. Let him catch until he gives you overwhelming reasons why he shouldn't. He already has. no he hasn't. i'm not saying start him every day, but he could catch the day game after a night game and i'd be fine with it. Fortunately today is a night game after a night game so he'll stay banished from behind the plate. He's essentially the walking definition of an emergency catcher. There simply isn't the need right now to make such a desperate move.
  5. Agreed. Let him catch until he gives you overwhelming reasons why he shouldn't. He already has. I missed the last innings last night. Was he that bad? Yes. He dropped multiple balls and generally seems very awkward back there and we already know guys can almost run at will on him. That's not the kind of player you want in such a vital position for 9 innings.

  7. Yes, that has been proven by the last couple of weeks. Absolutely. No small sample size here. The fact is Kosukes doing fine at leadoff. Sorianos doing great at the 6 spot. More importantly, were winning, and as long as it stays that way, lets not disturb the formula. Pretty levelheaded from the guy that thinks the Cubs need to have Fox catching fulltime until Soto comes back and that they need to upgrade the #8 spot like it's a matter of life and death.
  8. As bad as Hill is at the plate he's essential right now based on the position he plays. Letting Fox catch until Soto comes back is a desperation move which the Cubs don't need to do. The problem isn't Hill catching, it's Hendry/Lou not promoting a backup catcher, thus forcing Fox out of most games This is true.

  10. Yeah, it's just the catcher. No big deal.
  11. No, YOU couldn't.
  12. Absolutely stupid on the Astros' part. Streaky as he is and as bad as his night was the guy's numbers over the last 2+ weeks are scalding hot.
  13. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! Majestic.
  14. [expletive], Aramis should have had the green light to violate that first strike.
  15. Had to get Blanco's wood on the ball, dude.
