You're really complaining about the #9 spot? 7, 8, and 9 spots #7 makes sense since ultimately we'll have Soto there instead, but acting like the #8 and #9 spots not being good at the plate is something to go nuts over is pretty, well, nuts.
He looks terrible right now. Maybe some consistent time in the minors would benefit him to get his swing back together by September... not that we have any better options to call up. he's just miserable at pitch recognition and he has no patience. he's frustrating because he literally is all or nothing. That and even when he's hot he has absolutely no business facing a lefty.
Considering that you had a pitcher coming off the DL and it's a game after an extra innings bonanza, a loss really isn't that surprising. Oh, Hill, how you tease.
