I just listened to that song 15 times in a row on my ipod...(followed by "when the Cubs go Marching in"...my wife thinks I need help... :D you do, that song sucks Oh...Zip it!! Buzz kill. Does anyone know where you can listen to that song online? I know I've done it before. just go to youtube and type in go cubs go, some cool montages along with it.

haha howard just hit a grand slam phillies lead the cardinals 11-0. i cant tell you how great its been here on campus with the cardinals being out of it. rarely seeing any red on campus.

Has your opinion of Pinkel changed at all though? They are good enough to take the North and have a 9 win season. I just don't know if I trust Pinkel to not screw it up and lose a couple of games they shouldn't lose. The only thing that has concerned me about Pinkel so far this season is the way he goes completely conservative on offense once we get a big lead in the 2nd half. However, I was comforted by the fact that Pinkel came out this week and took the blame for it happening: I like hearing that. I think he understands the urgency that everyone is feeling towards this team. This is the most talented team we've had in awhile, and it could be our best chance for awhile to win 9-10 games and the Big 12 North. In the three years I've been at Mizzou, Pinkel has definitely improved as a coach and it's good to see him taking responsibility for the lack of consistent play in the 2nd half of games this year. Doesn't matter. Things are coming together in Lawrence. Big XII N champs, 2007. LOL. Laugh all u want, but I think we're underrated. (We won't win the N) alright i can agree that you are probably underrated, so i could see 8-4, however, your non conference schedule is still a joke. but i guess if the jayhawks could go 4-4 in conference that would probably be a good season. by the way, for ku's sake, mangino needs to lose some damn weight. as a big 12 fan, its embarrassing.

This is for the Mizzou fans. My roommate used to work in the athletic department, and he went in today and said his former boss said that there's more than a 50% that the Mizzou-Nebraska game will be a night game. This is not the first I've heard this. I was at Harpo's on Thursday night and one of the bar tenders was on the phone talking about the home football games and he mentioned that its very likely that it'll be a night game. This goes along with the KC Star report that said Mizzou was in negotiations with ESPN for a night game. Man I hope so. We are probably the only Big 12 team that hasn't had a night conference game since I've been in school. I've heard that it could be a 6 oclock game or an 8 oclock game. Also, rumor is either ABC or ESPN.

I remember when Oklahoma and Texas both got to play in the Rose Bowl several years back, there fans were very excited because it was a rare opportunity to go to that Bowl Game. Not saying it is bigger, but I think there is a national perception that the Rose Bowl is the most popular bowl game. And as far as Nebraska being a bigger job than Michigan, give me a break. If it was so big, why did they get their fourth choice when Solich was fired?

Naw, y'all weren't that bad. I was very pleased with the Mizzou fans. Y'all were all very nice and I enjoyed the spirit of the rivalry. I sincerely hope the AD's continue the series between the schools. I agree. It was a blast going down there. I would definitely do it again, and I hate driving. All the Ole Miss fans I met were really really nice. And we tried to be very nice as well. It was a very fun two year series, and all the Mizzou fans that were down there talked about how they would love to do it again.

Ya, those are fun. One time when I was in undergrad, my girlfriend was pretty drunk from a long day of groving and so she had to go to the bathroom, so I walked her over to the HottyToddy Poddy and she went inside and I was waiting outside. Well I kept waiting and waiting and she never came out...it was like 15 minutes and eventually some woman walked up to me and said "are you waiting for a girl with blonde hair and a black dress...("yes, why?)...because she passed out in the stall and we are trying to wake her up" Ya...that was "interesting". I must have seen you there probably. That's the law school bar. I regret not giving you my number before you left. I thought about it Friday night, I was like "dang, I should have given those Mizzou guys my cell." You probably did see me there. I was wearing a black Mizzou shirt and a hat. We were sitting at a table right in front of the entrance for the outside balcony. We were probably kind of obnoxious as well.
