I wouldn’t think so Durant should be back shortly after the ASB and Simmons/Curry will help but the fact they’re still title betting favorites is absurd

The good news is that I don't really think this team is going to ever have problems scoring. They get lots of quality looks and they're not super 3 point heavy. If we can get some of the guys back with some ramp up period before the playoffs I think the defense can get closer to being a top 10 D going into the playoffs. We just need to replace some of those TBJ, Thomas, Bradley, minutes with real players...

Last couple possessions were rough for him, for sure, some bad turnovers at bad times. Defense continues to be an issue for the team, where the offense has to be clicking to win games. Green, Bradley and Ayo are really the only plus defenders they've got available right now, and until Ball and Caruso get back, they'll have to win games by out-offensing their poor team defense, which gets even harder to do if Zach and Coby are out extended periods. I'm stealing this right from a RealGMer's post: If I'm reading the graph correctly, basically Lonzo and Caruso are the 2 best defenders in the NBA by far this season. there might be value in slipping in the standings a bit, getting our guys back before the playoffs, and coming in underestimated especially if the early round opponents are the perceived contenders ala atlanta last year and miami in the bubble i don't want that to really happen because i'm kind of obsessed with this team right now but it wouldn't be the worst if we don't fall out of the top 6

It’s not gone. Even if they have to advance through the play-in round, the team is a 55 win team at full strength and so far none of the injuries we’ve dealt with including PWill are season ending. They are going to have to play a lot better than they did tonight but as long as they finish .500 and get everyone back, the season is still on. i'd be surprised if lonzo and caruso both are ready for the playoffs. just feels like maybe a play-in win and then we get trounced by one of the top east teams. even if lonzo/caruso come back, they'll have barely played. i wish we could get anything for vuc. what a terrible trade that ended up being. it's not that dire, i mean vuc might be but the team should be stronger than that record wise and potential wise
