  1. Idonije signed with the Lions on a 1 year deal
  2. OKC reportedly very active in trying to trade for the #1 pick? Interesting.
  3. Word is that it was an overzealous autograph seeker and not a disgruntled server upset about his tip
  4. Pippen turned himself in. Felony assault. Yikes.
  5. I'm sure there will be some nice players. No one that is going to change the course of a franchise. The Cavs are in a unique position where they can work their 2014 plan by being bad or being respectable this season and it probably won't mean much one way or another to Lebron. The other lottery teams, there's no value in getting marginally better and playing yourself out of the Wiggins sweepstakes (or the half dozen other guys who would go #1 in this draft).
  6. I think the Cavs can probably do both. They'll be better next year with improved health and growth from younger players, and they have so many assets in this draft that they can do something like trade the #1 pick and still have more draft assets than the average team to add young/cheap players or make further moves. I could be wrong, but it looks like they'd have the chips to do something like trade for Aldridge and still give LeBron a max deal without touching Irving/Waiters/Thompson. That would make for a frightening starting 5 with a lot of upcoming picks still to help fill in a bench. All that said, #1 for Deng or even #19 for Deng doesn't make any sense. There's a 31 & 33 for Paul Pierce rumor that would achieve a very similar goal for far fewer in assets. Yeah but this draft sucks
  7. I meant in general. The Cavs rumor mentioned that Gilbert wants to be respectable this year, which really makes no sense. Sell the fan base on the 2014/Lebron plan and get another sexy asset in place in a loaded draft next year. Deng might put the Wizards on the cusp of respectability which would get them nowhere in the long run.
  8. Did you not get the Victor Oladipo memo?
  9. The Bulls are not going to pass on the next Michael Jordan for Ben Mclemore.
  10. Deng to Washington for #3 and Okafor being rumored as well per Marc Stein. Okafor has a player option for $14 million but expires after this season, just like Deng. Don't really see why the Wizards would do that. Deng has value as an expiring contract who is still a pretty darn effective player but if you're just swapping expirings coming from a bad team? I'd rather tank again and get a lot of lottery balls in a draft worth a damn.
  11. Chris Bosh scored 0 points. I need Alec Baldwin to show up telling him to put. That. Trophy. Down.
  12. Pretty sure that Mr potato head looking assistant coach for the Heat has gotten more camera time than any other assistant in league history
  13. Spurs took the give Wade and Lebron space to take jumpers tactic to an almost unfathomable extreme and it nearly worked. Can't get too worked up over that. Kudos to them for knocking them down. DRose you're our only hope.
  14. Danny Green putting the ball on the floor is baaaaad
  15. What leprechaun did Mario Chalmers mother [expletive]
  16. Guess so. I feel like there has to be a healthier medium between what they're doing and guarding the drive.
  17. Green is scared
  18. Danny Green kinda useless if you run him off the 3 point line. Finish a medium difficulty lane shot bro.
  19. Isn't this mostly about getting Paul to stay?
  20. sounds like Mystic River
