this bar in carbondale did (still does?) "tin can tuesdays" and gave you a punch card with 30 american-style adjunct lagers. if you drank them all, you got a t-shirt. there were regional specialties such as schaefer and stag(lol), as well as northern powerhouses like hamm's, stroh's, and blatz. people can make all the contrived reasons they want, but the style of beer is just junk (literally junk brewed with the cheapest cereal grains that money can buy and blended so people don't notice the differences batch-to-batch). all of those brands are probably owned by millercoors now, not because they made an inferior product, but because they didn't pay enough for advertising. anyone who claims to enjoy the watery, metallic, seltzer qualities of those beers has bad taste This isnt rocket surgery They're broke and/or cheap

What were your expectations for the first game with a new coach, offense and 2 rookie Olineman against a top 10 defense? Below expectations? Sure. But way below? I expected some struggles at least for the first quarter of the season. Doing something with tempo. An offensive idea besides Forte runs and forcing the ball to Marshall on obvious passing downs.

I'd be really lukewarm on Del Rio. Good defensive mind but we need someone to bring SC's offense into the 21st century. Kiffin thinks he's doing his talent such a great service by playing such a "pro style" offense. Except he doesn't realize the NFL has left his archaic schemes behind as well.

If there's a competent cell in Haden's brain (TBD) they'll hire someone that wasn't born on 3rd base thinking he'd hit a triple. Gruden, Briles, Petersen, O'Brien uber alles.

I like how these analysts say USC has to play conservative ball-control offense when they still have more talent on paper than basically every team on their schedule. Lane gets a lot of attention for putting his foot in his mouth and not nearly enough credit for being a dog [expletive] play caller.
