As stated....this pen is garbage.....even with a healthy Ramirez/Grimm it's not good enough....time for the FO to get off their ass and do something about it......And, NO, it's NOT too early IMO. We Need a REAL LF....another arm in the pen that is CLOSER level good.....AND a STRONG #2/3 type starter.....and waiting until mid-summer isn't gonna cut it.

yep. Exactly.....can't believe the dog squeeze that Soler continues to swing at lately.....then he doesn't even make an attempt to beat the throw on the pass ball(I would bench his ass for a game or 2 if we had anything remotely worth putting out there). Castro and his DP balls.....CC running in quick sand in the OF<----this is the most frustrating to me.....how is he THAT bad..... slow footed, terrible jumps and angles...?

Given where the ball landed, that's likely a more difficult hop if he's in front of the plate. My stream isn't the greatest so I can't be quite sure how it was spinning, but it looked like Montero probably should have had it where he did set up. Agreed. Which is what I kind of meant....just horrible at conveying it in the "moment".....My bad He set up to get the angle/better position to judge/take the hop....then missed it anyway.

What exactly was Montero doing there...? Sets up for the throw behind the plate.....then misses the ball, which wasn't a terrible hop by any stretch IMO. Play that should have been made and Nelson likely is out.

Glad they got Jon out when they did.....a start he can feel REALLY good about and build on(which was my main concern).....Not pinch hitting for him was ass all stupid IMO.
