    I was watching WCIU yesterday (yes I have a weak spot for People's Court :) ) and the graphic popped up "Next: Cubs vs. Pirates". I'm ready for some baseball!

    WCIU HD was added today on Chicago aree Comcast on channel 183. I think WCIU plans to do road games (few that they have) in HD after WGN and CSN have already announced and commited to doing all games (home and road) in HD this year.

    Because of the rising sun flag? I always associated that version of the flag with war/nationalism so that's the first thing I noticed when I saw the ad.

    WGN (nor any other baseball related network) travels with their own cameras, so they are limited by what the other stadiums have in terms of equipment. until everyone is equipped with the HD cameras, its not worth bringing your HD production truck with you I think NESN does it for the Red Sox. TBS used to do it for the Braves. I think that's it though.

    The word is (and some Comcast headends have sent out a message) that WCIU HD will be added to Comcast in Chicago area on 1/30. This is good news for those few Cubs and Bulls home games that are on the U. Now if they could make sure not to have any Cubs home games on CSN+ !

    A friend of mine talked to tickets.com today. It seems that those of us who chose print at home option will not have to mail anything back. We should see a refund sometimes next week. Hopefully somebody else heard the same.
