My wife doesn't follow football nearly as much as I do, and she was asking me earlier in the evening yesterday how many black QB's there were in the league now. I started naming some, but I actually wasn't even sure if Freeman was still QB in TB for sure until the game started. There aren't many black quarterbacks because they are better running backs because they are natural runners, they are like junkyard dogs. (this is from Friday Night Lights - Season 1, I'm not being racist.) Almost got Mac fired, if only Coach Taylor wasn't so loyal.

With a team lacking in talent, I feel like you should just be looking to add any potential long-term assets unless there is a clear positional block. With the OF, I'm not going to be concerned with who is current on the roster before making a move since both are here short-term and regression candidates. -

I thought most of these kickoff shenanigans ended when they moved up the kickoff spot? Is their kicker just incapable of getting a touchback?

Mike Tomlin recently got a 4 year extension. Shanahan got a 5 year contract. Nothing says they'll be there at the end of the contract. Lovie/Shanahan/Tomlin all have to perform to keep their jobs. If you are a potential OC with any confidence in your own abilities, you will be willing to gamble on yourself creating a winner.
