  1. Tickets are no longer available at this time for the following game(s): Cubs vs. Cardinals 4/7/2006 Cubs vs. White Sox 7/1/2006 Cubs vs. White Sox 7/2/2006
  2. I think Seth's the reason we're all still waiting.
  3. I live in Iowa City, work in Cedar Rapids.

  5. That was not Wrigley by the way. My urinal at work isn't there either.
  6. I don't know if it qualifies, but I just went to the restroom without incident. Meaning nothing came out? You should see someone about that. Meaning no urinal dives, nobody was seriously injured or killed, and more importantly, I feel much better.

  8. It's about 50/50 that I don't understand what you are trying to say.
  9. Still virtually waiting...
  10. I hate the Cubs, but I still love them more than most things in life.
  11. How many sample games is that, over how many years. Because that is interesting. I think 58 ABs over 3 years. Nothing to salivate too much over.
  12. Walker is by far the best 2 hitter on the team. Jones can't hit well, we already know that. And if he's gone, I wouldn't mind seeing Murton in that spot.
  13. Wouldn't hurt if a couple did...
  14. BLASPHEMY! C'mon the whole thing fell apart, they don't have food under $65, bats fly around cuz it's so dark, and the bathrooms smell all dirty and stuff. Head north about 90 miles. That's where it's at.
  15. "Gulf war" #1
  16. There's nothing like drinking a few beers and enjoying some of the street performers outside the stadium before drinking some warm beers and watching some monkeys inside the stadium.
  17. I think Murton could be that guy. I think he will develop a little more power and fit nicely in that 5 spot. But I am betting Dusty will stick the lefty JJ in that spot. I think Barrett should be that guy. 3 years batting 5th: 345/433/672/1.105
  18. I'd be happy with either, but I think Aramis will have a bigger year. Nothing concrete as my basis, just a feeling.
  19. Pittsburgh isn't exactly a tourist attraction. However, that is my favorite of all the new parks built in the last decade or two. Beautiful place.
  20. How the heck did I forget Camden? I'm going to put that #5 instead of Dodger Stadium.
  21. Kent and Dunn are crap! (until they do a Q&A here) All hail Len and his sexiness!

  23. I always intend to go to 1 game each series, but I usually only get to 2 or 3 every season. I figured if I could get some insight into the more exciting players coming to town, I'd press harder to make it to those games. On a side note, there's only 1 other place I'd pay to watch baseball without giving any thought to it, and that's Wrigley. Sec Taylor/Principal Park is a fantastic place to watch baseball. If any of you are on the fence as to whether or not to make a trip to Des Moines, I highly recommend it.
