There are quite a few excellent prospects on the team. That's great... but what if our ACTUAL player played? Then we'd call it the WBC and get crushed? Nope, WBC doesn't have our best players. I'll bite, what does it have? -

If I remember, I'll contribute too. Actually, I probably won't be here for playoff game threads.... they would drive me absolutely nuts and I'll probably be sitting on a friend's couch or at a bar or something. Most of it isn't complaining about the Cubs. Most of it is people complaining about the complaining. Apparently you're not supposed to point out when they suck. Who knew? or maybe some people just enjoy posting in game threads and are tired of them being overrun by irrational fools who can't keep the big picture in mind when watching the cubs lose one game. bingo

Josh Vitters says hello. It would be nice to find a firstbasemen with a high pick. that's not a big concern with a large market team and free agency. they need to pick the best players available. -

Just an FYI, the Brewers currently have lost 5 of 9 games to the Cincinnati Reds - the same ones coached by Dusty Baker. So see, we're not the only good team to lose games to bad teams. :D but the Reds are worser or something

And this thread is annoying even with that ratio. God could you imagine what it would be if the ratio was reversed? There might be a suicide pact or something. that'd certainly improve the quality of future game threads to have the only two non-crazies dead and a game thread full of unbridled insanity? wait i thought the crazies were killing themselves and we're only losing two rational people. Could go either way. If the crazies don't kill themselves, the rational might have to just to escape the crazies. I'm confused, should I kill myself or not?

also get this straight: the Nationals are not going to score only 5 runs in every series they play. no baseball team is. the Cubs win, on average, less than 2 out of every 3 games. losing 1 game to the Nationals is not that big of a deal.
