    Well, them Cubs did something nobody has ever been able to do before; they made me look like a fool. I was confident they would lose, and they pulled the ol’ switcheroo. The Cubs now have the best record in all of Major League baseball. This will be a tough one. Woodruff hasn’t allowed a baserunner all season, but you will be thrilled to know Steele just racked up 21 strikeouts against the Brewers in my MLB The Show ’21. Let's keep this party going.

    Although once in beer league softball, we were lucky enough to be sponsored by Adult Marketplace in Iowa City.

    We had 3 levels in our small town, and they were Peanuts, Peewees, and Midgets. I'm not sure which was the youngest, middle, or oldest. The 70s-80s were horsefeathering weird.

    We are now officially less than 24 hours away from actual baseball games that count so just like Pentatonix famously once sang, let’s get it on. The guy who I think played Roger Dorn takes on Puerto Rico’s pride and joy, Marcus Stroman. Both guys are tied for the league lead in literally every statistical category including the triple crown, which just goes to show how silly it was to implement the DH in the NL. Anywho, here’s to loss number 1 of only 70 we will see all season. I’ll drink to that.
