yes, Len lost his marbles too. it was a bad gamble that failed miserably -
you done lost your marbles, son took two good throws to get him on a play that was close and the run would've won the game...worst case you end up with a runner in scoring position with your best hitter up and you literally only need a single run. except it didn't need to be 2 great throws; he was out pretty easily. it was a bad, bad gamble when we could have had, worst case, Zobrist batting with the bases loaded and 1 out after they walked Rizzo. and it was Dusty so there's solid reason to believe they wouldn't have even walked Rizzo
